As of November, 2017, Vladimir Chernitsky is a co-founder and the technical director of Faceter.

Biography

Vladimir Chernitsky was born in 1977 in the city of Chita. Began to program in school club on computers of Yamaha, then on home ZX-Spectrum. Graduated from the Chita state technical university.

In the 2000th years was engaged in web development using PHP MySQL, HTML/CSS. Created a geographic information system with use PostgreSQL/ a bit later PostGIS.

Continued career in Novosibirsk in Azoft company. Began with a position of PHP developer, then switched to development for iOS. Became the head of mobile development in the company. Took part in creation of the macOS-version of genealogical social network MyHeritage as the objc/c developer ++. Created in the company, and then and headed department R&D, one of the first problems of which was a project on calculation of hydrodynamics on mobile devices. The AquaReal application which reproduces painting process by a watercolor was as a result created. For emulation of distribution of the painting pigments the physical and mathematical model of hydrodynamics based on methods of the lattice equations of Boltzmann is used. Made the report on the Codefest conferences with the description of this project.

In 2013 Vladimir was engaged in research and development in the field of computer vision and machine learning.

In 2014 joined a command which worked on creation of the solution for scanning of bank cards using computer vision.

At the beginning of 2015 received the offer from the pay.cards command and joined the project as the leader. Under its management the pay.cards library was from scratch created. Accumulated extensive knowledge in the field of computer vision, machine learning, IOS mobile development, cross-platform programming c ++/python.

At the end of 2015 the command under the leadership of Vladimir began to project and in 2016 implemented the beta of the faceter.io project — the platform of the analysis of video flows with face recognition function.

As of November, 2017 Vladimir Chernitsky is a co-founder of the faceter.io project and is directly involved in development of architecture and implementation of a distributed computing system for the project.
