Schneider Electric TeSys D Green

TeSys D Green is a line of energy saving contactors for control circuits and switching.

The TeSys D Green Schneider Electric series is a part of a complete portfolio of "green" products and services for industrial machines and processes. It is developed to help the companies to achieve the goals in energy saving and preserving of the environment, and has marking of Green Premium for eco-friendly design and compliance to standards and regulations of RoHS, REACH, PEP, and EoLI. Products of TeSys Green D also conform to international standards of security for support of world export.

2017: Announcement

The Schneider Electric company, the world expert in management of energy and automation, provided on October 30, 2017 energy saving contactors of TeSys D Green for control circuits and switching. They are equipped with the innovation electronic coil which consumes 80% less energy and develops 50% less heat in cabinets in comparison with electromechanical contactors, claim in the company. It will help large technology and manufacturing enterprises to cut down the expenses on the electric power when preserving the high level of environmental friendliness.

Wide-band coils (100-250B AC/DC) of contactors of TeSys D Green have the increased resistance to fluctuations of mains voltage according to SEMIF47 and provide reliable repeated operation irrespective of fluctuations of tension, besides, they are silent.

In contactors of TeSys D Green the power clips of EverLink allowing to support constant pressure on a cable are used, providing strength connection during all life, even in case of the flowability of conductors and also the reducing heat losses in connections. It gives the chance to increase uninterrupted operation of production processes, to reduce installation terms, to reduce quantity of errors in installation of an electrical wiring and also to save space in electric cabinets and machines, emphasized in Schneider Electric.

The products intended for OEM manufacturing also enter the TeSys D Green series: contactors who it is possible to connect directly to inputs and outputs 500 mA of a PLC without use of the intermediate relay that simplifies construction. Besides, devices require less wires and materials, take less places in a cabinet that also allows to increase density of inputs and outputs of a PLC. In addition, construction increases reliability of the solution and allows to reduce costs due to energy consumption reduction (consumption of the coil of 1 W) in control cabinets.

The products TeSys D Green are also compatible to TeSys line accessories, the standard sizes and purpose of jumpers provide direct replacement of other standard contactors, irrespective of the producer.
