2017: Development

The Borlas group announced on October 27, 2017 solution development for planning of the structure of sown areas.

Feature of the presented solution is the efficiency of calculation — about an hour instead of several days at non-automated calculation. Besides, calculation can be executed repeatedly at change of separate parameters that is impossible at manual planning. The result of calculation is objective, qualitative, does not contain the errors arising at accomplishment of calculations by the person or owing to his personal interest, claim in Borlas.

The optimization model creates groups of fields with the minimum quantity of abuses of regulations of compliance of culture planned to crops on the predecessor, the pre-predecessor, frequency of crops and the number of years of continuous crops and also taking into account space isolation from the similar culture planned to crops in the current year and which is grown up last year. A system allows to create for the analysis the agronomist the list of the established violations of agronomical correspondence rules and their reasons.

Unlike the schedule systems existing in the market the solution "Borlasa" considers when calculating not only agronomical indicators, but also requirements of the business plan. A system uses specialized an optimization (mathematical) solver that allows to eliminate restrictions for amount of calculated parameters, difficulties of criteria, the volume of initial data.

Implementation of optimization model at the choice of the client can be based on solutions of IBM or on the free extended software. Besides, Borlas offers calculation of the optimized plan as service: after receiving a necessary data set specialists of the company carry out calculation using a system and report ready result to the client.
