On November 2, 2017 Russian Railways (RR) cancelled the competition announced several days earlier on providing certificates of functional support of software environments of SAP. The initial cost of the agreement was estimated at 2.6 billion rubles.[1]
Within the contract the customer was going to receive the service providing smooth functioning of information systems based on SAP products. Besides, according to the agreement, it was required to increase efficiency of functioning of the software and hardware complex including a full range of the set SAP software and DBMS Oracle.
Was among other tasks of the contract:
- service, escalation of the events connected with a SAP landscape
- support of the used software of Oracle DBMS
- rapid response and elimination of the revealed errors and failures
- consultations and execution of works on adaptation of functionality and management of lifecycle
The software list included solutions SAP HANA S/4 HANA SAP Business Objects, SAP Exchange Infrastructure Oracle Database , etc.
Support had to be given during the period from January 1, 2018 to December 31, 2022.
Service had to be provided in mode 24х7 (24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days in a year) as out of office of the customer (by means of Helpdesk, phone, e-mail) and with departure to the customer. At the same time, all works on rendering service, including deleted, had to is made by the contractor and his representatives only from the territory of Russia.
