Fujitsu Futro - thin clients.

On November 2, 2017 the Fujitsu company announced release of generation of thin clients of FUTRO. Devices are optimized for corporate tasks.

For November 2, 2017 as a part of a line four models. Systems are equipped with FUTRO Q940 PalmSecure technology, in it the functionality of biometric authentication according to the drawing of veins PalmSecure is implemented. The D set software of eLux, Scout Enterprise Management Suite and Windows 10 IoT Enterprise are offered.

According to developers, thin clients are suitable for a computing environment where the high level of centralization is observed:

  • public institutions,
  • banks,
  • insurance companies
  • call centers.


FUTRO Q940 – the thin client with the integrated sensing technology of the drawing of veins of PalmSecure which provides authentication.

The FUTRO S540 and S740 models with a volume of body of 0.87 l and the FUTRO S940 model - with the integral unit of a power supply, support of the option Power over Ethernet (PoE) were a part of a line of FUTRO. The universal FUTRO S940 model supports the Type-C USB interface and a possibility of installation of the graphic card for connection of several monitors.

All four FUTRO models are created taking into account distribution of multimedia communication tools and solutions for joint work, providing high performance. In them the functionality for support of Skype applications of for Business for Windows 10 Enterprise IoT and Cisco VXME and Avaya for eLux is implemented.

Thin clients have no moving components, fans. They consume less electric power in comparison with desktop PCs, work silently. All models are delivered with eLux RP 6 OS and software of Scout Enterprise Management Suite 15 of Unicon company.

The FUTRO models are available to the order in EMEIA region since December, 2017. The beginning of deliveries in the world is planned for March, 2018.
