On November 2, 2017 the Anaplan company announced implementation of the Anaplan platform for process optimization of seasonal purchases in infrastructure of the international operator of retail in the field of tourist retail of Dufry.

Project Tasks

In management of Dufry more than 2.2 thousand duty-free shops and normal shops. Process of purchases was required to improve the companies in a short time and to do without difficult and expensive reorganization of business processes.

Before implementation of technology as the instrument of seasonal planning, in Dufry spreadsheets were used, and planning process took a lot of time.

Project Results

With Anaplan implementation, specialists of Dufry in demand management can plan on several shops and brands at once, working with regional commands and commands on purchases. With it the transparency of planning process increases, there is an opportunity to adjust plans as required without involvement of IT specialists of Dufry.

The customer had an opportunity to instantly make changes in the organization within joint and effective planning processes.
