Notebook of dual purpose

The Sozvezdiye concern (as a part of the joint holding "Ruselectronics" of State Corporation Rostec) in the I quarter 2018 will start release of the personal portable computer belonging to the category of dual-use products writes in November, 2017 CNews^[1].

The notebook distinguishes resistance to influence of external factors, such as vibration, blows, high (+50 °C) and low (-40 °C) temperatures, an atmospheric precipitation. Notebook dimensions in the put status make 41.3 cm longwise, 32.4 cm on width, 6.2 cm on thickness. At the moment computers with the diagonal of the screen of 15.6 inches are put in production, 17-inch are in the future planned. The product is equipped with the powerful modern processor. Depending on a complete set computers will be supplied with Wi-fi, GPS-GLONASS, 3G-LTE, the video camera and other additional options. Also the vibration-absorbing platform and a hermetic plastic case will be included in the package.

Thanks to availability of the domestic operating system and the module of a trusted boot which provides protection against unauthorized access to confidential information the computer conforms to requirements of the Federal Service for Technical and Export Control imposed to the computer aids processing the classified information.

The concern plans reorganization of production area for serial production of notebooks. In the II quarter 2018 special equipment for drawing a protecting cover of aluminum parts and also the metering and test equipment of domestic production for control of functioning of computers will be started. After release of the first lot of products also equipment installation and mastering of technologies for production of parts from silicone is supposed (the keyboard, sealants and other). The release of bulk of necessary component parts will be made on own platform using the Russian raw materials. At the expense of it it is going to reach high localization of production.

The first batch of portable computers intended for the Ministry of Defence is developed specially according to tactical technical requirements of the customer. The computer can be also used by law enforcement agencies to the solution of different tasks of management in field conditions.
