"Galaktika" will help the Russian Railway to implement the strategy of import substitution of foreign software

On November 9, 2017 the Galaktika corporation announced conclusion of an agreement with the Russian Railway about cooperation in informatization. Signatures under the document were appended by the CIO of JSC RZD Evgeny Charkin and the board member of Galaktika corporation Anton Malkov.

Cooperation purposes

The agreement on cooperation is directed to strategy implementation of import substitution of the foreign software, development and deployment of domestic software and methodological solutions, creation for the benefit of Russian Railway holding of the information systems which are not conceding to foreign analogs on functionality, reliability, scalability and security.

We consider the Russian developers as reliable partners in implementation of our comprehensive program "Digital railroad" directed to increase in efficiency and safety of transportation process — the CIO of the Russian Railway Evgeny Charkin noted.

One of important elements of the modern technologies which are the cornerstone of the Digital Railroad program are the predictive analytics, management of repairs and service of objects, control of a technical condition of equipment and management of reliability. These tasks can be fully implemented based on the solution "Galaktika EAM" — a domestic product on management of industrial assets, Anton Malkov said.
