AMX4 + (X-ray device with wireless charging)

2017: Announcement

In November, 2017 the first portable device for digital roentgenography with technology of wireless charging was provided. It is about the AMX4+ model created by RadmediX company. Sales of innovation will begin until the end of 2017, but at first present it at the RSNA 2017 conference (on November 26 — on December 1; Chicago, USA).

In this equipment the detector X-ray device can be charged, having fixed in the holder of the cartridge that allows not to worry about discharging of batteries or damage of the charger. Charging of the detector is made automatically in breaks between operation of the x-ray device, without taking away precious time from doctors and patients.

The technical specialist working about X-ray device does not need to worry about battery employment duration in an intense clinical situation now — the partner of RadmediX company Mathew Krisovergis explained in HCB News interview.

In addition to advantage in portability, the new device profitable differs from the analogs in the market in what does not require to carry with itself the additional charger which can be damaged when carrying or at permanent use and which is required to be repaired or replaced rather often.

The 14-inch flat panel of the detector is equipped with the digital touch display which allows to check battery power level. Two Acuity DR 1417 batteries can be charged along with the help of the Slim Dual Battery Charger battery charger. In the device the development identical to technology of wireless charging iPhone under the name TX/RF is used.

Besides, thanks to new technologies the device can provide sharper images which if desired medical staff can be displayed immediately the tablet or the smartphone. The device is delivered with a two-year guarantee. The producer did not announce cost.^[1]
