Using the external gadget equipped with the GSM module, results of the patient are loaded into the database on the Internet from where the doctor-oculist can browse measurements.

According to information on the website of the producer, Implandata already develops mobile application for the smartphone which will allow also patients to browse the profile and the history of measurements and also to keep in contact with the doctor.[2]

The first Eyemate system was implanted to the patient in eye clinic University Eye Hospital in the German city of Bochum. Further the extensive program for assessment of a system within which doctors also intend to test implantation of the sensor through a smaller cut is planned, than it is provided at standard transaction.
