BP prolonged the license agreement for aspenONE software

In November, 2017 Aspen Technology, the software developer for optimization of production assets, announced that the BP oil and gas company, prolonged the license agreement for use of software of "aspenONE Engineering" - a set of the solutions focused on process design and optimization of production. Also the agreement was prolonged for use of software of "aspenONE Manufacturing and Supply Chain" - a set of solutions in the field of production operations with the software for supply chain management.

This global strategic agreement allows BP to use the range of solutions of AspenTech company, including software of "Aspen PIMS-AO" for planning at oil refinery and also the solutions "Aspen Advanced Process Control" and "Aspen HYSYS" for engineering design and optimization.

The aspenONE Engineering tools on production are integrated and available to modeling, the analysis, design and security via production simulators "Aspen HYSYS" and "Aspen Plus". Use of this software package helps with design and improvement of production for safer operation. This packet provides improvement of indicators of energy consumption, stability of development of production, capital and operating costs and also products production volume.

The software package "aspenONE Manufacturing and Supply Chain" allows clients to optimize the choice of initial raw materials, inventory and transport assets and also to react quickly to failures in production and it is profitable to use trade opportunities. It provides complete optimization of a chain of oil deliveries with the integrated production planning and drawing up production schedules of Refinery and also the standardized platforms for primary and secondary trade distribution networks.
