"Evraz Nizhniy Tagil Iron and Steel Works" automated management of warehouses based on the SAP solution

Evraz Nizhniy Tagil Iron and Steel Works (Evraz of NTMK) automated management of warehouses based on a specialized software SAP WMS (Warehouse Management System). The project is implemented together with consultants of group ITPS for the purpose of inventory management optimization, reported in November, 2017 in the company Parma Telecom entering into the ITPS group.

As a result of system implementation of management of warehouses processes of accounting, acceptance, movement on a warehouse, holidays and inventories of the inventory items (II) were automated. The solution provides use of special mobile terminals of data collection. Labels with detailed information (a nomenclature position, a batch, etc.) and barcodes which are read out using mobile terminals are applied on all stocks which are stored in a warehouse complex. The technology of automatic identification of Inventories for barcodes provides support of warehouse transactions, providing information on a status of a warehouse complex in real time, without use of the computer.

On a response of the customer, use of barcoding allows to minimize quantity of errors, to increase efficiency of accomplishment of warehouse transactions and also accounting and stock analysis of Inventories, quality of inventory, to optimize use of warehouse spaces.

In general system implementation of management of warehouses in EVRAZ of NTMK provided high-quality changes of processes of an inventory control which promote inventory management optimization.
