2018: Release of the new version
At the beginning of November, 2018 the Konica Minolta Healthcare company provided new opportunities of the AeroRemote platform. This complex control panel for AeroDR Wireless Flat Panel Detector Systems automatically collects and integrates important information on a status and use of the AeroDR system in the form of clear and exhaustive analytics.
The advanced software of AeroRemote Insights simplifies navigation among several control panels for performance review on certain anatomic areas. In the anatomic card color keying is used that visually reflects performance measures and allows to direct quickly attention of managers to the interesting areas.
Using AeroRemote Insights managers will be able to estimate work of department, a system or the specialist from any AeroDR device, analyzing such indicators as frequency and the reasons of emergence of a mirror signal, value of radiation of the patient, the number of inspections and application of digital roentgenography. These data are easily filtered by date or type of inspection that helps managers to reveal precisely weak points and in time to offer improvements.
The system of notifications in real time of Live Notifications which warn managers and personnel of a support service is included in the package of AeroRemote Insights if the AeroDR panel was dropped accidentally. In it a case the user of a panel is offered to start 30-second diagnostic check to estimate a functional condition of the device. Results go by e-mail to all interested persons, including Konica Minolta Customer service center which representatives can offer the help depending on the revealed problem.[1]
2017: Announcement
In November, 2017 Konica Minolta Healthcare announced the software under the name AeroRemote Insights by means of which operators of x-ray devices will be able to manage better this equipment and to understand its work.
AeroRemote Insights represents a set of web tools by means of which productivity and efficiency of the systems of digital roentgenography of Konica AeroDR increases
The program outputs important information on performance X-ray devices, a status of functioning of their components and scanning of patients.
AeroRemote Insights uses expanded instruments of data analysis for which processing powerful computers are not required for medical institutions — all computing transactions are performed on remote servers of Konica Minolta and its partners. Thanks to it doctors will be able to get far off access to crucial data on operation of x-ray devices through the mobile device or the notebook at the expense of what workflows improve, increases the accuracy and life of the equipment.
According to the senior manager on the products Konica Minolta Healthcare Steven Eisner, the solution AeroRemote Insights supplements a cloud service of monitoring of the AeroDR systems which detects and notifies on problems in operation of the x-ray equipment. AeroRemote Insights helps to configure optimum operation of devices — for example, for increase in efficiency of repeated inspections, he noted.
The public presentation of new software will take place within the annual conference of Radiological community of North America ( Radiological Society of North America, RSNA) which will take place from November 26 to December 1, 2017 in Chicago (USA).
AeroRemote Insights will appear in many X-ray devices of the Konica Minolta AeroDR family at the beginning of 2018.[2]
