Based on department of emergency medical service in "Edge clinical hospital of emergency medical service" in November, 2017 the system including archive of diagnostic testings, a radiological information system and the module of teleradiology on the platform of Agfa HealthCare company is started.
On a response of the chief physician of Edge clinical hospital of emergency medical service Vladislav Bombizo, a PACS system (Picture Archiving and Communication System/transmission system and archivings of images) allows to receive hi-res pictures in the online mode and in remote access to consult with specialists in diagnosis of diseases.
Implementation Progress
Commissioning of this system was preceded by transfer process of pictures of analog x-ray devices in a digital format using the systems of digitization.
In November, 2017 all Agfa complex including the system of exchange of radiological medical images, archive of images and the software was completely started.
Beyond the Urals it is the first such experiment on large-scale implementation of a teleradiological system — the chief physician of Edge clinical hospital of emergency medical service emphasized. — The first otsifrovshchik we purchased 5 years ago and received serious economy on a x-ray film and service of the analog equipment and also excellent quality of images. Still otsifrovshchik, modern x-ray devices, the software are during this time purchased, as allowed to adjust a teleradiological system. And now we constantly improve it. |
Project Results
All digitized x-rays remain in archive and are available to the analysis at any moment. As of November 23, 2017, in hospital all range of researches of computer and digital roentgenography is executed.
In KKBSMP the single diagnostic network and the centralized archive of medical images is created and integrated into it all diagnostic equipment of department of a radiology and also the automated jobs of rentgenlaborant and doctors are organized. The key feature of this system is that complete results of researches became available to doctors-clinical physicians in any point of hospital and at any time through technology of web access.
According to Vladislav Bombizo, thanks to system implementation the hospital gained economic and clinical effect. In the long term a system provides storage not only x-ray images, but also all medical information — the images of ultrasonography given functional methods of a research, laboratory data, etc.
On a response of staff of clinical hospital, in this system the radiologist can conduct at the same time a research, browse the previous images and at once prepare the conclusion, at the same time create 3-D reconstruction on the basis of researches of a computer tomography. It is possible to browse at the same time researches with other experts in remote access and to take out the joint conclusion. Besides, a system allows to conduct complete archive of all diagnostic testings, access to which is provided to doctors in one click.
It is the first project in Altai Krai on implementation of teleradiology in medicine — the CEO of "AGFA — the Medical Systems in Russia" company (Moscow) Roman Ryzhkov noted. — In fact it is a system which allows to store and exchange the medical images received from different diagnostic devices. Provides to them access for specialists not only from jobs, but also from phones, tablets and other communication devices. In Siberian Federal District there are similar archives, but in Altai Krai the system allowing to communicate, consult in online mode to doctors-diagnosticians that accelerates process of diagnosis and adoption of the medical solution is for the first time created. |
As Vladislav Bombizo added, such system already works in the Diagnostic center of Altai Krai, and with specialists of the center the online channel for consultations is fixed.[1]
