Schneider Electric Ecoflair is a line of cooling systems for use in DPCs.

On November 28, 2017 the Schneider Electric company provided a line of Ecoflair economizers — the cooling systems developed for application in DPCs. Ecoflair devices succeeded the EcoBreeze series.

As a part of a line two devices with a rated capacity of 250 KW and 500 Kw. More powerful model consists of two modules on 250 KW with uniform command center.

Ecoflair devices have the improved technical characteristics, big efficiency. The indirect cooling system of air used in devices by means of the modular tubular self-cleaning heat exchanger from polymeric materials allows to achieve high extent of energy saving. Use of the Ecoflair economizer helps to cut down operating costs to 60%, the company stated.

The modular and block architecture of Ecoflair simplifies and facilitates transportation, installation, connection and system maintenance of cooling.

The system of vaporizing heat exchange Ecoflair does not require water treatment and spends water effectively at the expense of the built-in system of recirculation and electropulse processing.

The Ecoflair economizer does not require the place in server halls. Practically all cooling system is integrated into the uniform device. It is mounted outside the building - on perimeter or on a roof. Such approach at the same time solves a set of problems:

  • the maximum utilization of the area and resources of the building for direct needs of DPC,
  • physical security
  • access separation,
  • simplicity of scaling of the cooling system,
  • noise reduction in DPC.

Ecoflair does not create discomfort strong noise - in construction fans from an acoustic composite are used.

Devices have opportunities:

  • separate consumers,
  • reserve components,
  • reserve power sources,
  • reserve water supply sources
  • own drive of water for irrigation of the heat exchanger.

Use of polymers helped to lose installation weight, to prevent pollution, a kaltsination and corrosion.
