WaveAccess developed the web application for automation of work of Semrad law firm

The WaveAccess company announced on November 29, 2017 project implementation on development of the web application for the American law firm Semrad.

Prerequisites

For years of work the Semrad company which specializes in carrying out bankruptcies of individuals accumulated considerable experience in area of process management, and there was a question of their automation. It was decided to develop own web application based on modern technologies which would allow to optimize work of lawyers of firm. Functions of such application had to correspond to key business processes of the company, and the cost of development and support — to be reasonable.

Project Tasks

The commands attracted to the project did not cope in time: in two years even the beta of the web application was not ready. As a result as the contractor invited the WaveAccess command — the Stratus BK project taking into account all customer requirements was required to recover the companies urgently.

Project Progress

Specialists of WaveAccess stabilized and expanded functionality of a product: integrated the administration which is specially developed the module, an electronic document management system, the CRM system, the financial block, a task manager. The eFiling component which allows lawyers to register affairs on the website of the U.S. Supreme Court was created. The user interface was updated, it became flexible and multifunction.

The web application was transferred to a cloud service of Microsoft Azure, it was brought into accord with requirements of Microsoft and added the module Order Management. It allowed WaveAccess to configure support of Multi-tenancy-architecture for sale of licenses for service to other law companies. The Multitenantnost allows to service separately users from the different organizations within one service (one installation or deployment).

Project Results

As result, more than 100 lawyers of Semrad use Stratus BK. The company also sells the web application on a subscription — the solution is implemented more than in 30 third-party law firms. Based on the developed solution Semrad is going to create the platform for the new markets: other fields of law and property sale.

On a response of the customer, WaveAccess developers helped to achieve the project goals with accurate observance of the timeline.

Successfully and in time our more than 10 years' experience of development of solutions for the financial and legal markets and competence on recovery of IT projects after work of other vendors helped to implement the project according to all requirements of the customer. Development process was organized on Scrum-methodology — is absolutely transparent for the customer. The team of 18 people, including the designer, the UX specialist and groups of specialists in testing worked on the project — Ilya Feygin, the technical director of WaveAccess specified.
