On November 30, 2017 Konica Minolta, Inc. announced release of the CA-410 device for control and fine tuning of a white balance and a gamma at the factories making TVs, monitors and displays for smartphones and other devices.

Range of measurement of brightness of CA-410 with the guaranteed accuracy - from 0.001 to 5000 candelas per square meter. Expanded range of measurement will help producers to control and increase quality of displays with high resolution that smartphones and TVs could play better images and video.
CA-410 can measure the lowest threshold of brightness in 0.001 cd/m2 in one second. At measurements manual work is not used, the contact sensor can be connected directly to the computer for economy of space.
The general time of measurements is reduced due to expansion of opportunities of the sensor and increase in computing power of the processor. By means of its CA-410 accelerates gamma correction process that increases performance at the factories manufacturing displays of high resolution.
