The Altai doctors began to perform operations on treatment of aneurysm of an aorta by means of the equipment of Medtronic

It is made of metal alloy and a woven vascular prosthesis (graft). The price of prostheses make from 500 to 900 thousand rubles.

During operation on endoprosthesis replacement of a chest aorta in edge clinical hospital of Barnaul the system of endoprosthesis replacement of a chest aorta Valiant Captivia developed in Medtronic company was used.

The Ministry of Health of Altai Krai notes that department of vascular surgery of the Altai edge clinical hospital has the most wide experience in Altai Krai on treatment of aneurysms of an aorta.

The method of endoprosthesis replacement is applied in our department since 2011. Carry out it by that to patients who have contraindications to normal surgical intervention — Yury Subbotin told.[1]
