"Metropolis" upgraded network infrastructure

On December 14, 2017 the LWCOM company announced upgrade of infrastructure of shopping center "Metropolis".

Project Tasks

For implementation of marketing strategy of network on interaction with buyers, it was required transport a local computer network.

Perform project works invited specialists of LWCOM.

Project Progress

The LWCOM command developed the project solution within which the hardware and software system is used:

• switches of a core of network,
• access switches,
• wireless infrastructure (controllers, access points),
• system of wireless positioning,
• software of a management system.

The used lineup of access points allowed to build the Wi-fi network working at modern standards.

For accomplishment of tasks of project implementation specialists of the LWCOM integrator having all necessary competences and expert work experience in the field of design and implementation of infrastructure solutions, corporate networks and the engineering systems were invited. The LWCOM command developed the project solution within which the hardware and software system Cisco was used: switches of a core of network, access switches, wireless infrastructure (controllers, access points), system of wireless positioning Cisco CMX, software of a management system of Cisco Prime. Access points of Cisco of series 2800 allowed to build the Wi-fi network working at the most modern standards.

Project Results

The LWCOM company executed the project in three months. Network infrastructure is created, service of geopositioning is implemented. Intellectual functions of the built-in systems allow to watch the events which are taking place in a system in real time, to build different reports on monitoring of a system, thermal cards of clients, attendance of different zones, etc. The functionality of products can extend due to application in the system of developments of third-party^[1].
