PepsiCo automated work on the organization of electronic cash desks

On December 18, 2017 the company PepsiCo announced integration more than 1100 tablets Samsung for equipment of forwarding agents of the company by electronic cash desks.

Project Tasks

Project objective - upgrade of an automated system for work of staff of the company with the online and cash equipment.

Project Progress

As a hardware platform Samsung Galaxy Tab Active tablets are used. Together with cash registers they are used for execution of cash and electronic vouchers.

Project Results

The project is executed within nine months - from December, 2016 to August, 2017. Works are carried out in several steps: from January to February, 2017 - the preparatory stage of the project including search of contractors and testing of products.

• in June, 2017 - a pilot project startup:
  • forwarding agents PepsiCo in Mineralnye Vody tested 20 Samsung Galaxy Tab Active tablets in field conditions. Having convinced of compliance of devices to requirements, the PepsiCo company integrated them into daily activities of forwarding agents of the company for all Russia.

According to the requirements 54-FZ which became effective on July 1, 2017 all cash registers should transfer electronic copies of checks to the tax inspection by means of electronic cash desk^[1].
