Sberbank and the Federal Antimonopoly Service of the Russian Federation launched at the end of 2017 a joint project "Digital interaction of the FAS Russia with banks and business entities based on blockchain technology."
Earlier, as part of a pilot project of the FAS Russia with Sberbank, as well as Aeroflot, Russian Coal, ForteInvest and others, the possibilities of distributed storage of documents were studied in order to increase the speed, reliability and quality of interaction. Based on the results of the pilot project, the requirements for the implementation of the system and its further development were agreed. Pilot operation of digital interaction is carried out, in which information and documents exchanged by the FAS Russia with Sberbank are transmitted and stored in encrypted form using blockchain technology and cryptographic tools certified in the Russian Federation.
