BalaBit PAM Privileged Access Management

In December, 2017 Balabit company, the solution provider for management of exclusive access (Privileged Access Management — PAM) and management systems for logs, announced release of the new PAM solution. Earlier PSM technology for management and monitoring of exclusive sessions and its tool for analytics of behavior of users (Privileged Account Analytics (PAA) were used as separate tools, now the solution is available as completely ready to work after installation of software.

Now it is "turnkey" software which can be set for several days even on large enterprises, helps to minimize the risks connected with date leaks, the exclusive accounts which happened because of theft. The solution of Balabit controls access to IT systems, writes activity of users in a type, convenient for search and viewing, preventing harmful actions. Balabit strengthens traditional security measures, such as password management, in details writing sessions of privileged users and using difficult analytical tools for monitoring and authentication of users in real time, including each clicking keys and movements of a mouse.

The Balabit technology is seamlessly integrated into the existing IT environment, including a management system for identification and access for users, storage of passwords, tools for multifactor authentication and a system for management of IT services (ITSM). With the integrated user interface Balabit provides to cybersecurity specialists a single window for the overview of sessions in real time, an opportunity to execute search of the written sessions in the key word appearing on the screen to estimate risk level for each session and to receive notifications. All this accelerates investigation process. The solution of Balabit increases productivity of privileged users, such as system administrators, allowing them to authenticate automatically itself using the password from storage and also the application on the mobile device.
