The Mindray monitors came to City clinical hospital No. 3 of Odessa

As it became known in December, 2017, the monitors of production of Mindray Medical International company allowing to watch the key life-supporting parameters of the patient came to City clinical hospital No. 3 of the city of Odessa in Lidersovskom Boulevard, 11.

Prerequisites

Organization locates cardiological and neonatologichesky complexes which provide the specialized stationary help with the profiles to residents of Odessa and two districts of the area. However the hospital faced a problem of shortage of the modern equipment.

For example, monitors of patients — an obligatory thing in any hospital. The device allows to notice the slightest changes in the vital processes. And in such hospital where emphasis is placed on cardiology, the device is simply irreplaceable.

Earlier in hospital delivered devices of the Ukrainian production of 2005 of release, but for their objective reasons it was necessary to replace long ago. Besides, the equipment was not enough for all 12 beds of intensive therapy of a cardiological complex, without speaking about surgery.

Delivery

As reported, the hospital did not locate necessary means for purchase of necessary number of the Mindray monitors. In this case a step towads to medical institution was made by the deputy of city council Victor Novak who bought the much-needed equipment for means of deputy fund.

On the commonly accepted regulations existing today, in intensive care unit near each patient there has to be a monitor and the medical ventilator. Before Victor Novak's help we had four monitors on 12 beds. This second there takes place resuscitation of the patient. And if not the new monitor, then old it should drag from an upper floor. And until it would be brought, the patient would already leave. And it is worth a lot — the chief physician of City clinical hospital No. 3 Ilya Milman told.

According to the deputy Victor Novak, it is necessary to continue to make investments that the clinic could turn into this cardiocenter in hospital:

In the city the million plus city there has to be a cardiocenter. On commission session concerning health care this question will be considered. The cardiological center with rehabilitation is necessary for Odessa, actually in the city there is no such place where patients undergo rehabilitation after strokes and heart attacks. And close arrangement to the sea, the park and presence of professional specialists do hospital by the perfect place for this purpose.

On a response of the head of the intensive care department of a cardiological profile Andrey Samofal, the Mindray monitors delivered in the Odessa hospital within a day fix any changes in the vital processes. For example, if there is a violation of a rhythm of heartbeat that poses hazard to life of the patient, the device instantly displays the relevant data, and the doctor has an opportunity to help quickly. In the absence of monitor observation at first it will be required to find out the reason of deterioration in a status of the patient that will lead to loss of precious seconds or minutes.

Besides, all monitors are connected to one computer that allows to monitor at the same time all patients. This moment is expected fast reaction of physicians. In total the computer can display information on 32 working monitors.^[1]
