At the end of December, 2017, in a year after entry into the market of the medical visualization equipment, the LG Electronics company provided a number of new medical devices.

At an annual meeting of RSNA of 2017 the company provided 3MP Diagnostic Monitor displays and 1.3MP of Clinical Review Monitor. They are held for use in offices of a different profile, including during advisory acceptance, surgery or for carrying out a radiographic research. Thus the LG company provides to hospitals a complete packet of visualization engineering devices.

3MP Diagnostic Monitor

According to the company, in monitors the technology of plane switching thanks to which the screen can be considered from the different parties without considerable color distortion is implemented. 3MP Diagnostic Monitor is the first diagnostic device, developed by LG Electronics USA Business Solutions company.

This model is equipped with the 21.3-inch display with the built-in calibrator thanks to which the clearness and an adequate color rendition of the x-ray image is provided. 1.3MP Clinical Review Monitor has the 19-inch screen with an aspect ratio 5:4. According to developers, both products can be connected to the existing hospital equipment easily.

All medical devices of LG for image processing are compatible to the system of formation and exchange of digital images in medicine (DICOM). It means that devices adjust images for the purpose of an adequate color rendition — the head of marketing of LG Electronics USA Business Solutions of Garry Wicka told. — Medical monitors of LG are also equipped with technology of stabilization of the back-face illumination guaranteeing the stable brightness level. Besides, additional settings reduce a delay of input and minimize load of eyes that is especially important for professionals with long working shifts.[1]
