DWH of Raidix is implemented in the Brazilian education center Uninter

The Raidix company, vendor of storage systems, and DriveSys system integrator in December, 2017 announced delivery of DWH to Uninter education center.

During the DriveSys project implemented in IT infrastructure the one-controller solution Rockit based on Raidix software. The systems under control of Raidix are supported as block (the Fibre Channel, InfiniBand, iSCSI, 12G SAS), and file protocols of access (NFS, SMB, AFP, FTP), use function of SSD caching and reach the optimal read performance and record. The Brazilian partner performs maintenance of the delivered system and technical support 24/7.

As noted, DriveSys selected Raidix technology including thanks to high reliability of storage. Raidix provides integrity of data at the expense of the patent RAID 6, 7.3 and N+M levels which guarantee overcoming failure at failure of 2, 3 and 32 disks, respectively. Raidix supports up to 600 disks within one system, thereby providing the high density of storage. At the expense of a parallelization of calculations Raidix shows not reduced capacity (to 15 GB / c) in the multithreaded mode.

The customized functionality of Raidix and the specialized equipment from DriveSys allow the Latin American customers to solve specific objectives regarding performance and fault tolerance. Within cooperation with DriveSys experts of Raidix provided training and certification of specialists of the partner and defined milestones of promotion of the complete solution in the region.

Solving a problem of consolidation of separate resources and systems from different producers, Raidix allows to upgrade and scale the existing customer's infrastructure with the minimum investments into the hardware — said in Raidix.
