"TV match" implemented a quality control system of media files from Tekom

By the end of 2017 the Tekom company implemented the project on development and deployment of a quality control system of media files for process optimization of check of content of the federal channel "TV Match".

In 2016 the sports TV channel "TV Match" had a need for automation of process of control of compliance of video files to the set quality parameters. A convenient system for daily verification of the video records made as the channel, and arriving from partners in different formats from different sources was required for TV channel. Manual check of such data array could not provide sufficient reliability and would not comply with technical requirements of process of pofaylovy processing.

In response to a request of the federal broadcaster the Tekom company developed the software solution allowing to check compliance of audiovisual content to industrial standards and parameters of quality. A system has functionality for verification of video, metadata and also allows to carry out the analysis and normalization of a sound. According to the results of check a system issues the detailed report containing a list of all found errors requiring the subsequent correction. It allows to fix a problem with the file before on-the-air, to minimize reputational and financial risks of TV channel.
