Tata Consultancy Services received the contract for $2 billion from insurance company

In January, 2018 the largest Indian IT company Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) signed the large contract with the American insurance company Transamerica. The long-term agreement will bring to integrator more than $2 billion, transfers the The Economic Times edition.

Through partnership with TCS the Transamerica company intends to improve quickly the digital opportunities, to simplify service more than 10 million insurance policies within the single integrated platform and to provide steady growth of business thanks to improvement of processes of work with clients.

TCS will help the customer with transition to the simplified cloud platform which will allow to increase flexibility in product development, to expand services and investments into acquisitions and strategic innovations.

Transamerica hopes to achieve at the expense of this transaction annual economy in $70 million with the subsequent increase in this amount up to $100 million.

According to the statement TCS, the company will make the proposal on work to all profile staff of Transamerica who deals with issues of support in an insurance field of life, a rent and pension and also supplementary health insurance. TCS intends to support about 2200 jobs in the American company.

The workers who agreed to transition to TCS will be given an opportunity to remain in the same American cities in which they worked in Transamerica.

The long-term contract between TCS and Transamerica also expands cooperation of the companies in the market and assumes accommodation of personnel of the Indian company at offices Transamerica in the different cities of the USA.^[1]
