On January 16, 2018 the Jet Infosystems company announced end of the first stage of deployment of infrastructure of virtual work places of users (VDI) for the United Engine Corporation (UEC). The implemented solution completely conforms to the Standard of the hardware and system software of State Corporation Rostec obligatory for all enterprises entering into State corporation. As of January, 2018 virtual work places provide about 30% of specialists of UEC Management company.
The project allowed to ensure safe and productive functioning of remote users with corporate resources – first of all due to centralization of data storage and access control to applications on the basis of uniform the politician of cybersecurity. Users can get access to the virtual work place from any device, having been authenticated also authorization. Besides, as a result of standardization of jobs and replacement of desktop computers with thin clients the number of addresses of users to technical support decreased.

Infrastructure of VDI includes a failover server cluster and disk arrays and also specialized software for management of virtual desktops and servers of virtualization. All applications are performed on a centralized basis, and the user device serves only for input and information display. Therefore corporate data do not leave data center of the customer – they do not remain on the end device and cannot be copied.

The next stages of the project assume expansion of a hardware and software system for transfer to VDI of all specialists of Management company and also the staff of other organizations as a part of UEC.
