2018: Attempts to recognize by the foreign agent through court

In January, 2018  in the Frunze district court of Saratov the administrative case which was initiated by district prosecutor's office, suspected regional public organization of the disabled people sick with diabetes, in political activity is considered.

Against regional public organization of the disabled people sick with diabetes and also  against her board member Ekaterina Rogatkina protocols by  Part 1 of Article 19.34 of the Administrative Code (work of the organization which is a foreign agent, without registration in  the corresponding register) are personally made. To society the penalty to  half a million rubles threatens, to Rogatkina  — up to  300 thousand. The first court session took place   on January 15, 2018.

In  the expert opinion  concerning the organization it is told that it in  three years received more than 645 thousand rubles from  branches of the foreign pharmaceutical companies on  holding of conferences, exhibitions and  sports competitions for patients with diabetes. Among sponsors Johnson and Johnson, Abbott Laboratories, Novo Nordisk and Eli Lilly Vostok are called.

According to outputs of prosecutor's office, NPO transfers to the foreign pharmaceutical companies information on painful points of the region, creates premises for discredit of authorities.

The senior assistant of the prosecutor of Frunzensky district of Saratov Yuli Shpigunov petitioned for familiarizing with case of statements of the movement on the account of regional NPO and its partners - "sponsors".

Representatives of public council to the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation objected to familiarizing of these documents.

The amounts were ridiculous — the member of council Nikolay Dronov emphasized.

The law on  foreign agents works in  Russia since  2012. Under  it the foreign agent it is possible to announce any non-profit organization which receives money from abroad and  at the same time is engaged in political activity. By January 17, 2018 in  the register  of Ministry of Justice there are 84 foreign agents.^[1]
