Implementation of the voice assistant
In February, 2018 the presentation of new Mercedes A-Class took place. The car received the technology developed in Daimler using machine learning and recognition of a voice for interaction of the driver with electronics.
The updated A-Class will become the first Mercedes-Benz car equipped with the information and entertaining MBUX system which will appear further in other models of DM. In January, 2018 the Mercedes-Benz company provided a new automobile information and entertaining system under the name MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience). The solution based on Linux will begin to be used in production motor transport in several months after the announcement.
MBUX will be offered in two versions different two displays in size (are located on the meter panel at a wheel and in the central tunnel): in basic option there will be 7-inch screens, and in more expensive executions pair of 10.25-inch displays will find application.

MBUX supports installation of the module of wireless communication Near Field Communication (NFC) and the USB connector Type C. Existence artificial intelligence will allow to a system to remember usual routes and to offer them to the driver. Also support of interfaces of connection of the mobile Apple Google Android devices CarPlay and Auto is noted.
Mercedes-Benz worked also over the interface, having implemented three options of a design of the screen of the meter panel (Modern Classic, Sport and Understated) and 64 colors for LED illumination of richly registered salon. All switchings will be followed by special graphic effects and animation.
Consumers will see the multimedia MBUX complex in new Mercedes-Benz cars among which — the hatchback and the A-Class sedan (the first will receive a system), MPV B-Class, a four-door compartment of CLA, the sports CLA Shooting Brake station wagon, the compact GLA hatchback and also future GLB crossover.[2]
