Integration with the CargoCoin blockchain platform

On July 17, 2018 it became known that the project team of SKYFchain and Cargo Technologies company agreed about integration of the logistic platforms.

SKYFchain provides the operational platform for air, land and sea cargo UAVs. The platform is developed on the basis of technology of smart contracts. She integrates information on all events happening to cargo robots for lifecycle — from the moment of release, maintenance to parts of flight tasks, and guarantees its reliability. Also the platform allows in a format of the smart contract of a message logistics and financial calculations of any complexity that simplifies interaction of operators and clients.

CargoCoin, in turn, proposes the solution for the organization of document flow in transit of loads. Platforms supplement each other, as a result of integration users will get access to services of SKYFchain and CargoCoin and will be able to accelerate implementation of pilotless cargo logistics in the business.

Alpha of SKYFchain

On June 26, 2018 it became known that the alpha of SKYFchain, a blockchain platform for control of cargo UAVs became result of joint work of SKYFchain and Qiwi Blockchain Technologies.

The SKYFchain command held hundreds of meetings and negotiations with potential partners and clients. Expansion of a partner network and creation of demand for tokens of SKYFT among the companies, the organizations and government institutions was the main objective worldwide. As a result, the command could collect and analyze expectations of the market and create a prototype of SKYFchain (MVP) and the expanded technical specification (Yellow Paper) on their basis.

The alpha of the platform contains a number of basic functions. It provides to the user the choice from eight account types, starting with the producer of drones and finishing bank or insurance company. After login users get on a control panel where can watch the UAVs performing flight tasks and to manage them.

A system sorts UAVs by type, the brand, model, loading capacity, geopositions and time which remained before scheduled maintenance. The drones which took off on flight tasks are sorted by type, a mission, a route and ​​ to some additional parameters. Users can look at a profile of any device in a system and learn its cost, technical parameters, geolocations and routes, to check documents and certificates, the history of transactions and a part of complete missions and also record of maintenance. The account of the user reflects balance and reserves means in several currencies.

Collecting of $5 million during ICO

ICO SKYFchain reached the minimum planned volume of charges (softcap) necessary for start of the platform: $5 million. It was said on June 13, 2018 by representatives of the SKYFchain project. According to them, the project was already supported by nearly 8 thousand investors from 56 countries. Charges continue.

For last several months the command held hundreds of meetings and negotiations with potential partners and clients. A main goal which was pursued by a command — to create demand for tokens of SKYFT at leading companies, the organizations and the state departments worldwide. During this time developers understood what the market expects from the platform, created the technical project for the first prototype of SKYFchain and the expanded technical specification (Yellow Paper). The prototype and Yellow Paper are already developed and, according to plans of the company, will be available on the website skyfchain.io in June, 2018.

At last, in June the SKYFchain command is going to start the smart contract, to distribute tokens of SKYFT among investors and to place them at the cryptoexchanges.

Collecting of $2 million during pre-ICO

On March 6, 2018 representatives of the SKYFchain project announced end of pre-ICO during which $2 million were collected. In total more than 4 thousand cryptoinvestors took part in the project.

The stage pre-ICO started on March 1, 2018. It is remarkable that $500 thousand were collected even before official start of sales. The stated goal in $1 million managed to be achieved on March 4, and by March 6 the amount of the raised funds increased to $2 million.

We are glad that crypto - the community estimated our project on development of the operational platform for pilotless cargo logistics and we thank all participants of pre-ICO — Alexander Timofeev, the CEO of SKYFchain said.

Due to the high interest of community in SKYFchain also announced shift of date of ICO: it starts already on March 10 instead of May 1 as it was initially planned. Conditions of ICO remain the same: 476.7 million tokens of SKYFT will be offered for sale.

Cooperation with Qiwi

On March 1, 2018 it became known of participation of Qiwi in development of a blockchain platform for pilotless freight transportation of SKYFchain. The agreement is signed with the Qiwi Blockchain Technologies company entering into the Qiwi group.

According to RBC  with reference to representatives of the companies, the Qiwi will be responsible for a blockchain and writing of all code, and SKYFchain will give a financial support to the platform. ICO (Initial coin offering is primary placement of cryptocurrency) with the purpose to attract $5-30 million will be for this purpose carried out. Preliminary the ICO company began on March 1, 2018, expecting to collect about $1 million.

Was engaged in Qiwi in development of the first blockchain platform for freight transportation

By the beginning of March, 2018 the SKYF company (SKYFchain is its division) locates several prototypes of cargo UAVs which pass tests. It is planned that serial production will be started within three years.

According to the representative of SKYFchain Ilya Rodin, among main customers of products of SKYF there will be logistic companies which will be able to deliver the goods to remote regions where as an alternative either expensive runs of helicopters, or long and unreliable transportation of goods on lack of roads act. Also representatives of the agricultural industry who  could use drones for pollination of crops by chemicals became interested in trucks UAVs, he told the edition.

The company SKYF is engaged in development and production  of unmanned aerial vehicles with a loading capacity up to 250 kg and flying range up to 350  km (at loading of 50 kg). The developer of the SKYF — Ltd company platform "The developmental bureau "Aviaresheniya" created by group of the Russian investors.

As for Qiwi Blockchain Technologies, in a company asset there are already transport developments. So, the logistic blockchain platform for FGUP Morsviazsputnik was created.^[1]

Announcement of the SKYFchain blockchain platform

The Russian developer cargo drones ARDN Technology in January, 2018 announced blockchain- the platform for pilotless cargo logistics of SKYFchain from the company Skyfdrones Services.

According to solution designers, SKYFchain is the first blockchain platform for the arising market of pilotless cargo logistics which, as of January, 2018, is estimated at $100 billion. It is a public system for all pilotless devices, their users and other participants of the industry. The platform fixes all key events which happen to the pilotless systems.

Besides, SKYFchain is a financial instrument for support of transactions between participants: from calculations for delivery before insurance and leasing. The Skyfdrones Services company plans release of tokens of SKYFT in number of 1.2 million pieces with the starting cost of $65. Public sale of tokens will be carried out in two steps: pre-ICO starts on March 1, 2018, the purpose — to attract $1 million, and ICO — 1.2 million tokens at the price of 3.9 cents will be offered for sale. During Pre-ICO which will last till March 31 tokens of SKYFT can be purchased from 40% discount. With future growth of number of transactions in a system holders of tokens will receive a share from the cost of each transaction, and its face value will grow in traditional currency together with development of the platform.

According to creators of the project, SKYFchain will completely change approach to logistic business. ARDN Technology, the developer of the pilotless airfreight SKYF platform of vertical take off and landing will become the first producer of cargo drones on SKYFchain. SKYFchain is open for any producers of UAVs and, by estimates of developers, has every chance to become a versatile tool in the market of pilotless logistics.
