A RFID system provided access control and movements of participants of ICTWEEK Uzbekistan and Digital Infrastructure Forum

The Aytiproyekt company reported on January 22, 2018 that a RFID system in 2017 provided access control and movements of participants of week of information technologies of ICTWEEK Uzbekistan and the Forum of the infrastructure solutions Digital Infrastructure Forum (DIF) in Tatarstan.

By request of organizers of ICTWEEK Uzbekistan the Aytiproyekt company unrolled a system for tracking of movements of participants at the event based on RFID Uhftekhnologii and a software platform of ITProject RFID Server. In 2 controlled zones the stationary RFID readers Zebra 9500 with MTI antennas were installed. Coding and printing of badges on the Zebra ZD500R RFID printer it was performed on a front desk by the identification numbers assigned to participants during online registration. All procedure took no more than 15 seconds on each participant.

Access control and tracking of movements of participants at the event of DIF were also provided with a software platform from Aytiproyekt. In 5 controlled zones the stationary RFID readers Zebra 9500 with antennas of production of the Russian company "RST-Invent" were installed. As badges plastic RFID tags of Zebra Technologies company which coding on a front desk happened to the help of the stationary RFID reader Bookos from RST-Invent were used.

On both actions in controlled zones screens on which movement of participants was online displayed were installed. In both cases deployment of a RFID system took only two days. A system based on the ITProject RFID Server platform allowed not only to control movement of visitors, without demanding from them commission of any inconvenient actions for identification, but also to collect statistics which will help organizers to carry out the analysis and to optimize the program of future actions.
