The compact isochronous cyclotron of MCC-30/15 is intended for acceleration of negative ions of hydrogen and a deuterium to energy of 30 and 15 MEV, respectively, from 100% by efficiency of an output of bunches by "roughing".
Purpose of a cyclotron — production of broad set of the "cyclotron" isotopes used in the different industries of the national economy, medicine and at scientific research. Scales of production of radio nuclide products on a cyclotron can be thousands of curies a year.
For this cyclotron the special system of external injection of a H-/D-bunch is used.
Source of ions — vneshniyyu Axial external injection from a source of ions of multipolar type. The system of axial injection consists of the solenoidal focusing lenses, pair of quadrupole lenses and the spiral inflector.
Two roughing devices for a bunch output to external targets are provided. For setup of a cyclotron the water-cooled remotely operated sampler is used.
The management system of a cyclotron is developed on the basis of the industrial computer. The management system includes a control rack and the control panel in the form of a desktop with the computer.
