GE Athlete Management Solution (observation system for athletes)

==2018: The announcement-

In February, 2018 the GE Healthcare company announced software development for the winter Olympic Games, intended for medical observation of athletes. The new solution was received by the name GE Athlete Management Solution.

The provided software developed in partnership with the International Olympic Committee carries out synthesis of information from different sources - for example, estimates communication of data on injuries and diseases of the athlete with the venue of trainings and competitions that allows to provide a comprehensive review of the state of health of the patient.

GE Healthcare provided software for the Olympic athletes

Representatives of the company say that the GE Athlete Management Solution program provides condition monitoring of the athlete in real time, informing medical personnel and allowing them to personalize treatment of athletes. Besides, implementation of technology will allow to reveal trends in a travmatization of participants of competitions in different types of sport.

The program collects different medical data, including results of visual examinations and dynamics of change of the vital indicators of the patient. Each parameter is estimated concerning a place of registration and the accompanying events. Athlete Management Solution can reveal "hot spots" with the maximum level of a travmatization or surge in infectious incidence among the audience who were present at a certain action. This cloud tool is absolutely safe and allows to get far off access to clinical data in any place and at any time.

Athlete Management Solution is also supplied with the multilingual interface and supports the English, French, Arab, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, German, Spanish and Korean languages. All conditions and data of Athlete Management Solution were edited and confirmed with native speakers to provide the most faithful translation.

According to GE Healthcare, Athlete Management Solution will be used in 2018 at the Winter Olympic Games in South Korea and in 2020 at the Olympic Games in Tokyo.^[1]
