Sberbank automated processes of lifecycle of own devices of self-service which network is the biggest in Russia. As of February, 2018 it contains 77 thousand devices.
Tasks
The implemented system PARUS was designed to solve 3 key problems:
- It is effective to service the biggest network in Russia, due to data integration from different sources.
- Display up-to-date information on a device status at all stages for all users.
- Minimize participation and manual work of employees.
Contractor Selection
The choice of the contractor was made on a competitive basis. In view of complexity of the project, Sberbank selected the contractor, based on complex assessment of quantity and quality characteristics of employees, experience of the previous joint works and also cost of the commercial offer. As a result the contractor of the project selected AiTeco company.
Project Implementation
The project is implemented on a technology platform of HP AM. It was selected as an optimal variant for implementation of an architectural concept at the time of the beginning of system development in 2015.
During the project specialists of Sberbank and AiTeco had to overcome a number of difficulties in integration and analytical areas. In bank a large number of automated systems is used, all of them have the architecture and specifics.
In analytics need "invent" flexible configuration of processes, so flexible that participation of developers in the course of use of a system was not required became a call. It had to be clear not only to employees of the bank, but also the contractors who are responsible for separate stages. As a result a system PARUS had an opportunity to make changes to the sequence of process steps directly by the user without participation of developers and also without data loss of devices, critical for operation.
Results of the project and development plans
For the life, and it is about seven years, each device passes a set of stages – purchase, commissioning, installation, movement, write-off. And about each device specialists of bank know everything. The implemented system PARUS controls data on devices and implements a possibility of submission of requests for their write-off. In addition, in a system in the pilot mode navigation according to the requests "maintenance control" is started.
Considering complexity of requirements regarding processes, the contractor proved as the qualitative contractor, quickly adapting and making changes if necessary. The quality of works is estimated at different development stages, testing and piloting of a system, and at each stage there are evaluation criteria. The quality of the code, need to carry out refactoring if the code expands, as a result for us is minor. First of all we understand convenience and simplicity and also efficiency of our employees in a system as quality of works. The application will allow them to enter quickly data on the device, being to it in close proximity. It, in turn, will affect end users of devices of self-service positively – clients of Sberbank.
