2020: AiCE start - AI systems for recovery of low-quality MRT-pictures

At the end of July, 2020 Canon Medical announced the beginning of use of an AI system for recovery of low-quality MRT-pictures of AiCE. 2018: Announcement of a system

On February 12, 2018 the Canon Medical Systems company began deliveries of the scanner of the magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of Vantage Galan 3T XGO equipped with the Saturn X Gradient system for the best neuro and cardiovisualization.

Thanks to Saturn X Gradient noise on the diffusion weighed images of a brain decreases by 30% at the expense of what the high definition of neurovisualization is reached. The new system which is already approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) gives an opportunity to conduct quantitative analysis and cardiological researches with great comfort for the patient who should hold the breath not so often, as usual.

Vantage Galan 3T XGO Edition MRT-scanner

Vantage Galan 3T XGO Edition provides a possibility of carrying out fast, convenient and high-quality neurovisualization researches, and thanks to PURERF and Saturn technologies allows to select necessary MRT-images quickly. The improved software delivered together with a system is equipped with MultiBand SPEEDER technology which allows to carry out several scannings at the same time thanks to what duration of a tomography is reduced twice.

Besides, Galan 3T XGO Edition represents enhanced capabilities on cardiovisualization, including, thanks to MOLLI technology, allows to receive more detailed characteristic of tissue of myocardium at a breath delay. A system with phase-sensitive inversion recovery (PSIR) provides the best kontrastirvaniye of the image and eliminates need for check of calibration of time of inversion that allows to conduct a cardiological research quicker and with great comfort for the patient.

New Galan 3T XGO Edition with Saturn X Gradient relies on strengths of the predecessor, at the same time providing faster and high-quality formation of MRT-images. Now doctors should not sacrifice the accuracy or comfort of the patient — the head of MRT-division of Canon Medical Systems Dominic Smith explained.[1]
