In February, 2018 within the first power service contract with "The Ekaterinburg electric grid company" installation of 3 thousand "smart" counters began (EESK).
Project Tasks
The main objective of the project — to reduce losses in the electric networks due to implementation of an automated system of control and accounting of energy resources (ASCAPCs) based on LPWAN technology from Strizh company.
Project Progress
Within three months the partner Martin, the Mikronet company, will install in the private sector of Yekaterinburg 3 thousand "smart" counters "A1", "A3" and their modifications performed by Split. They are intended for installation on a column in a rupture of the bearing wire.
Data from counters arrive on the base station and further — on the server of Interregional Distribution Grid Company of Ural where the manager in real time monitors energy consumption, analyzes balance and reveals plunders.
If the subscriber exceeds the consumption limit specified in the agreement, the relay of the "smart" counter is temporarily switched off, limiting loading. Such measure protects the power supply network from overloads and saves the network organization on exit inspections.
The notification about each opening, unplanned restart or external impact on the counter instantly goes to the manager.
About technology of Strizh company
The feature of the ASCAPC on technology of Strizh company is an opportunity to scale the system of intellectual accounting. For example, to construct the complete solution: install on power substation together with counters wireless sensors of access, temperature or the sensors tracing tension on phases.
The technology of narrow-band and energy efficient communication is suitable for creation of large-scale projects of tens of thousands in size of "smart" devices with the minimum costs for network infrastructure. Project Development
Implementation of the second contract will begin in April, 2018: in the private sector of Yekaterinburg. Mikronet will install 6,056 counters with LPWAN radio modems.
The expected effect of implementation of an automated system of electricity metering on Martin technology — decrease in losses by 100 million kWh, or 300 million rubles.
