2018: 26 billion medical images

In the middle of February, 2018 the Carestream Health company announced that the number of medical images, access to which has a cloud service of Vue Cloud company, exceeded 26 billion. These pictures are stored in private and public data centers worldwide.

Vue Cloud provides direct access to stories of diseases of patients and researches in the field of medical visualization through the clinical platform developed by Carestream Health for joint work of CCP — Clinical Collaboration Platform. The last provides management of workflows and flows of medical images, archiving of data irrespective of the producer and also advanced multimedia and interactive opportunities of report generation.

The number of medical pictures in a cloud of Carestream Health exceeded 26 billion

A single server system which manages CCP provides security, protection and recovery of files of different formats (DICOM PDF JPEG and XDS).

Given by the secure systems placed in data center of the company of the Tier 4 level. This DPC has reserve IT infrastructure, several ways of data transmission, two computing systems, failsafe infrastructure, continuous observation of access control and certification of ISO/IEC 27001.

We also increase the number of data centers, including one in China. It is expected that in 2018 more countries will implement our platform.[1]
