Implementing solution VideoMost

On May 3, 2018 the Spirit DSP company announced participation in the project of the Russian system integrator "AiTeco" on development of IT of infrastructure for the uniform center of the emergency reaction at occurrence of extreme situations in Nizhny Novgorod.

VideoMost, the program server for video conferences, was implemented in the complete solution "AiTeco" which integrates the system of a video conferencing, video distribution and display on videowalls and desktops, audioswitching and sound amplification, telephone communication and also the system of the guaranteed power supply, network of distribution of power supply and lighting and other functions necessary for the Novgorod center.

The program VideoMost VIDEOCONFERENCING server allows to integrate at the same time up to 100 interactive video participants in one online room and still up to 1500 viewers on each server for holding meetings, business meetings, presentations and press conferences, work of the situational centers, contact centers. According to Spirit DSP, VideoMost has cross-platform, broad tool kit (the mobile messenger, demonstration of applications and a desktop, joint work over documents, file sharing, a board for drawing, etc.), we will combine with earlier installed VIDEOCONFERENCING equipment of Polycom, Cisco, Avaya, Huawei and software of Microsoft in one conference.

Creation of the uniform center of the emergency reaction

In February, 2018 it became known that in Nizhny Novgorod the Uniform center of the emergency reaction at occurrence of extreme situations which integrated the situational center of the mayor and uniform service on duty and dispatching which IT infrastructure was constructed by AiTeco company is created.

Project Progress

In a short time the command of the system integrator implemented the "turnkey" project, having executed according to the government contract development of the concept and design of a complex of technical means, supply of equipment, construction and balancing and commissioning.

In the project progress specialists of AiTeco deployed the complete solution, having implemented the system of the guaranteed power supply, network of distribution of power supply and lighting, the structured cable network, a local computer network, the server hardware and a storage system, the systems of a video conferencing, video distribution and display on videowalls and desktops, audioswitching and sound amplification, telephone communication and also the system of gas fire extinguishing and the security fire warning, control and access control, the climatic equipment.

Use of the equipment of mainly Russian production having necessary quality certificates and security according to job requirements of objects of such level became feature of the project.

Project Results

According to AiTeco, technical capabilities of newly created service meet all modern requirements to the systems of the emergency reaction at occurrence of extreme situations. Key among them:

• reliability assurance and round-the-clock operability of the equipment,
• reservation of components of a system in case of their failure,
• support of all relevant protocols and principles of joint work of telecommunication means of communication and data transmission,
• ability to integrate with software and hardware packages of other services of the city, * hi-tech equipment of jobs of managers.

We were faced by an interesting and uncommon challenge in short terms to create the full-function solution necessary for round-the-clock operation of uniform dispatching service. At the same time for city administration it was important to save earlier enclosed investments and most effectively to use already existing equipment — Roman Antonov, the head of the Nizhny Novgorod department of AiTeco company shared features of project implementation. — The team of our specialists carefully studied the available infrastructure and partially transferred it to a new object, having upgraded a system in general and having increased technology potential.

As of February 20, 2018, based on uniform service of Nizhny Novgorod on duty and dispatching it is open and the uniform center of the emergency reaction at occurrence of extreme situations works. Used by the service IT infrastructure it is ready to further development of systems and their integration with any information complexes and telecommunication systems that potentially gives to city authorities opportunities for the solution and other tasks of work with the population, concluded in AiTeco.
