Infor became software supplier for the Dortmund Borussia

The Infor company, the supplier of cloud business applications with deep industry specialization, in February, 2018 announced obtaining the status of the official partner — software provider of football club of German Bundesliga Borussia (Dortmund) (BVB).

Borussia and Infor signed the agreement on close cooperation which will affect different business divisions of club, including service of marketing and work with clients, a business intelligence, property management and finance — all those divisions which are capable to optimize the work due to use of cloud software applications of Infor. The agreement was signed at a support and maintenance of the Lagardère Sports agency.

Digital technologies already play a significant role, and in the future in this plan nothing will change. On behalf of Infor we found the reliable partner with a world name, capable to help us with transition to use of digital technologies — Carsten Kramer, the marketing director of BVB reported.

Under the terms of the agreement, the Infor brand will be provided on advertizing LED screens of the largest stadium of Germany "the Signal Iduna Park" — home stadium of Borussia. Also the agreement included the points concerning Digital Signage and hospitality events of club.

As noted, the agreement with BVB became for Infor the first experience of this sort in the field of professional soccer.
