EMS Russian Post (Complex projects of creation of the engineering systems)

The ASS IT company in February, 2013 announced project completion of a complete set of jobs for EMS Russian Post protected by WOW-500U uninterruptible power supply units from Powercom.

Now Powercom UPSes ensure smooth operation of more than 600 personal computers of the known logistic company. The choice of this model for the project was caused by compactness and functionality and also the beneficial price providing to the customer the optimal cost of ownership of all solution. As separate advantage existence of an additional euro socket with the filtering of noises serving for connection of the printer and other equipment with a high peak power consumption served.

Models of the WOW series provide optimal protection against interruptions of tension and noises in power supply networks and also overloads and short circuit. Horizontally located euro sockets are protected from penetration of foreign objects and are suitable for connection of any computing and telecommunication equipment. In cases of a considerable overload or short circuit at the output of the UPS the time cut-out which easily reverts to the original state simple clicking the button after elimination of a problem works. The telephone or network line can be protected, having connected through the RJ45/RJ11 connectors located on the UPS body. For contact with the computer and correct completion of work of the operating system at discharge of the accumulator the USB port with support of the Smart Battery standard serves.
