IPPON Innova is a line of uninterruptible power supply units.

2019: The battery module for Innova RT II 6K/10K

On January 25, 2019 the IPPON company announced release of separate battery modules for a line of online of uninterruptible power supply units of the Innova RT II series.

The battery modules Innova RT II 6000 and RT II 10000 were available only as a part of the general set of online Innova RT II UPS earlier. Since January, 2019 the order is possible also for service of the current systems, the producer reported.

As noted in Ippon, the main difference of two battery modules among themselves is the difference in type of complete unattended lead acid accumulators: 12 VDC 7 Ach x 16 pieces for the Innova RT II 6K and 12 VDC 9 battery Ach x 16 pieces for Innova RT II 10K. The voltage output of the battery pack is 192VDC for modules.

The memory expansion granularity makes 438х129х593 mm for both versions. The module for Innova RT II 6K - 46,1 of kg, and for Innova RT II 10K – 51,8 of kg weighs. Is included in the package: battery module, user guide and warranty card.

Innova RT II 6000 and RT II 10000 UPS

On October 18, 2018 the IPPON company announced updating of a line of on-line of the uninterruptible power supply units of the IPPON Innova RT II series intended for protection of the expensive equipment – servers and other IT systems.

The provided IPPON Innova RT II 6000 and RT II 10000 models differ from other models of the RT series in a technical part and external design. As the producer claims, thanks to the improved specifications of model became the optimal offer on a ratio price/quality in a segment of online solutions of average power.

According to the statement of the developer, IPPON Innova RT II improved indicators of coefficient of power output from 0.9 to 1, having made even power to kVA with a power in KW. Range of allowable input voltages was expanded to 110-275 V at loading <50% и 150-275 В при нагрузке 100%. Ранее значения равнялись 120-276 В и 176-276 В, соответственно. Был расширен диапазон частот с 45-60 Гц до 40-70 Гц. КПД on-line решений прошлого поколения составлял 92-93% и в обновлённых моделях был увеличен до 95%. В режиме высокой эффективности КПД достигает 98%.

Also, the nonlinear distortion coefficient which makes is improved <1% при линейной и <5% при нелинейной нагрузке. Был снижен общий вес устройств. Ранее 10-кВА устройство весило 81,5 кг, а вес представленных устройств составляет 66,5 кг, отметили в Ippon.

Devices are equipped with the LCD display, RS232 and USB Type-B ports. There is a support of replacement of the built-in accumulators, load supervision in output sockets and several operation modes. Interaction with the UPS is possible on the PC via the corporate software of WinPower with cross-platform support of systems based on Windows, Linux, Mac, Solaris and UNIX-SYSTEMS.

As reported in Ippon, for October, 2018 it is developed and the single portable unit of power distribution (PDU) is delivered. The device allows to connect up to three devices with power up to 30 kVA. The range of necessary accessories is available to models: set of mounting rails, SNMP cards, Bypass PDU.

On March 22, 2018 the company IPPON announced updating of a line of add-on modules, having released the block of distribution of power supply for a series UPS Innova.

The PDU 16 block provides switching to a bypass for maintenance and also distribution of power supply. For example, when carrying out scheduled preventive maintenance the PDU 16 block will provide the isolated power supply line for the UPS. Also it can be used for connection to the UPS and be established in a rack or in vertical position.

IPPON Bypass PDU 16 is intended for the UPS families with a power range from 1 to 3 kVA - Innova RT. By the Innova UPS it is executed on Online technology, i.e. with double conversion of input voltage. Innova RT provides protection for server systems under management Novell, Windows NT and UNIX and also other expensive equipment.

Two modes of power supply on loading are provided in the Bypass PDU 16 block: giving of the stabilized power supply from the UPS and power supply directly from network (the bypass mode). Blocks of power distribution conform to the existing standards and are very simple in installation.

Are included in the package: Bypass PDU 16, two connection cables, a bracket for fastening in a rack, the screw, the user guide and the warranty card.

The NMC SNMP II adapter for Innova G2

On March 14, 2018 the IPPON company announced release on the Russian market of the NMC SNMP II adapter for the Innova G2 UPS series. The adapter is intended for remote status monitoring and also settings of operating parameters of uninterruptible power supply unit.

The NMC SNMP II adapter is specially intended for family of uninterruptible power supply units IPPON INNOVA G2 executed on Online technology i.e. with double conversion of input voltage.

IPPON INNOVA G2 UPSes are intended for protection of the expensive equipment – powerful workstations, network equipment, servers, the NAS systems. The set of the built-in batteries will allow to continue accomplishment of tasks or it is safe to finish operation of the device with preserving of data in case of long blackout. For convenience of management of the UPS are equipped with the intelligent LCD display.

IPPON INNOVA G2 UPS

The provided SNMP adapter is compatible to the program of remote monitoring (WinPower) and also utilities for auto disconnect of the computer at power failure (System Protect Software). Status monitoring of the UPS is available under the SNMP protocol and also via the web interface of the browser (HTTP protocol).

Except the NMC SNMP II adapter, enter a complete set – a wire of management to consecutive COM port of the computer, a disk with the software and the user guide.

Module EBM Innova RT 3/1

On February 21, 2018 the IPPON company announced updating of a line of add-on modules, having released EBM Innova RT 3/1.

The module EBM Innova RT 3/1 is designed to increase time of battery support of the Innova RT Tower 3/1 UPS family which are used for power supply of small DPCs, large shops of retail, regional offices, the equipment with a high density of power. The device is equipped with 48 lead-acid batteries. The quantity of fusible inserts is 2 pieces. Construction of the add-on module allows to place it by a horizontal method. The weight of the device is 151 kg.

Innova RT Tower UPS 3/1 (2018)

The INNOVA RT TOWER 3/1 UPS for which the above-named add-on module is released provide the centralized protection of three-phase power supply. INNOVA RT TOWER 3/1 are created for providing back supply of especially critical nodes of infrastructure. The operation principle consists in double conversion of the electric power: low-quality input voltage will be transformed to the constant voltage of the internal bus, and from it voltage output with reference characteristics forms. Switching time for work from accumulators is equal in Online of the UPS to zero. UPSes are executed in the Tower format and supplied with castors that is very convenient in the conditions of real operation. It rather just allows quickly and to deliver the UPS to the necessary node even in the constrained conditions. The technology of double conversion of the electric power provides security blanket 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
