2018: Start of the public decentralized database

At the end of February, 2018 the Ties.DB company started the first-ever public decentralized database which was created by members of cryptocommunity for wide use. This modern method of data storage represents the excellent solution for the growing requirements of corporate clients, developers specify.

According to them, the Ties.DB database differs in flexibility and easily adapts to any blockchain project or the application, whether it be Ethereum, Ark, Waves or Rchain.

Founders of TiesDB and a project team decided to concentrate efforts of the company on the fastest start of the new database as this project as they claim, is capable to replace huge number of messengers and social networks. The decentralized applications in which there is at least one centralized component cannot be considered really distributed any more, so, are subject to failures. Still users had to use the centralized bases for want of something better, however in TiesDB created the first public decentralized database which should solve a problem of storage and quick search of non-financial data.

Decentralization of projects and their independence of external factors are connected with a possibility of safe storage of user data. The TiesDB database proposes the solution for the growing market of blockchain applications and the enterprises. Ties.DB does not store data in a blockchain as operational work of base requires the high speed and large volumes of memory which the complex structure of a blockchain is not capable to provide. However the blockchain provides the decentralized kind of work of Ties.DB.

Ties.DB has no uniform command center. However such decentralization can slow down work of the database, participants of network anyway should resolve the general issues of an information access, structure of tables, etc. Ties.DB found a way out, having created the decentralized operations control room on the basis of a blockchain. Key information which in character does not break decentralization is stored in it. This information seldom changes and is available usually only to reading therefore it does not affect operating rate of the database.

Besides, the blockchain is used for mutual calculations of users, determination of cryptographic algorithms, identification of users and enciphering of their interactions.

Blockchains projects compete among themselves, however data storage in the decentralized network is crucial for all. The world of the decentralized applications is not limited to Ethereum, however any user who decided to create the digital application or the program on the basis of a blockchain faces a problem of storage of non-financial data. The Ties.DB database allows to use ready infrastructure of a blockchain for the decentralized information storage. Actually, servers of this network will use any of blockchains for data encryption of the new digital application.

Ties.DB can store a set of different data types, including text files and user profiles, including quite large volume (video, music, PDF, etc.). The technology also offers a search capability of information and separate documents on contents of base, at the same time is capable to process millions of requests per second. These functions will allow users to remain in the general infrastructure of Ties.DB, without buying currency of other projects. Mutual payments of a system are registered through cryptocurrency of the network TiesDB.

The TiesDB company claims that their development will meet the growing demand of IT communities, and not only will allow is decentralized to store terabytes of non-financial data, but also will give an opportunity of quick search on them.[1]
