Start of a system of budget planning

On April 2, 2019 the company IBS reported that in the Russian transport-logistic Special power trancePlanet. Budgeting JSC " the system of budget planning on the basis of a product is started companies. System implementation allowed to optimize and centralize process of budget management and also to increase transparency of budget data. The management of JSC Spetsenergotrans received a flexible and scalable planning tool and the budget reporting.

Till 2018 budget planning of Spetsenergotrans company was performed in the MS Excel. With business development requirements to efficiency of obtaining information and its analysis increased. With respect thereto in budget management restrictions of traditional model in Excel began to be shown:

• labor input of planning by a large number of types of analytics;
• collecting of actual data in smaller detailing, than when planning;
• lack of the mechanism of electronic approval of budgets;
• impossibility of computer-aided planning on the basis of historical data;
• difficulties of scaling of budget model;
• error probability and malformed data because of the growing volume of manual transactions.

JSC Spetsenergotrans made the decision to implement an industrial budgeting system. On price relation and functionality the product "the Planet was selected. Budgeting". System implementation allowed:

• receive flexible and easily scalable planning tool and the budget reporting;
• reduce terms of formation of the annual budget of JSC Spetsenergotrans from several months to several weeks;
• increase the speed of operational end-to-end recalculation of model and loading of actual data from several days till several o'clock;
• obtain management information for decision making in expanded analytics;
• increase transparency of receiving and accuracy of the data;
• pass to the centralized planning technique based on history, drivers and standards.

The partnership agreement with IBS

On February 27, 2018 the IBS company and JSC Spetsenergotrans signed the partnership agreement. Within the contract IBS will construct a corporate system of budgeting of the company on the basis of own development - solutions " planet.budgeting ". Also announced Spetsenergotrans partner participation in creation of the functional solution of IBS company – " planet.analytics ".

JSC Spetsenergotrans is the transport and logistic company. Till 2017 budget planning in the company was performed using the product MS Excel. In process of business development volumes of budget information increased in the company and, as a result, user requirements to the speed and convenience of work with information and also to opportunities of its analysis raised. With respect thereto in the company the decision on enterprise-level system implementation which would allow to solve effectively all complex of problems connected with implementation of budget process was made.

As the solution the management of JSC Spetsenergotrans selected development of IBS company – " planet.budgeting ". The Planet platform represents an integrated environment for planning, budgeting, forecasting, modeling, consolidation of data and the financial statements allowing to operate with data at the detailed level. The solution provides flexibility during creation of multidimensional budgeting models and the analysis in the changing environmental conditions.
