"The first BIT" built corporate network for Zvenigovsky agroholding

On March 1, 2018 The First BIT company announced project completion on creation of corporate network for Zvenigovsky agroholding. In a project deliverable the uniform VPN network for 3000 employees of agroholding is created. The network provided secure access to corporate data with differentiation of roles and access to content and applications.

Prerequisites of the Project

The meat-processing plant "Zvenigovsky" represents agroholding which closes all production cycle from cultivation of crops and the cattle before implementation of finished goods to the end consumer. All structural divisions of agroholding were integrated by corporate network which provided data transmission in different formats and access for users to system applications. However, the management of meat-processing plant was dissatisfied with fault tolerance of network and lack of security. For example, there were no necessary technologies of authentication of users for access to corporate network that could lead to deliberate or unintentional removal of network of a system, unauthorized use of corporate information.

Project Progress

The situation was complicated by lack of the scheme of the current corporate network and any documentation to it. Specialists of the central office of First BIT analyzed the existing structure of network of agroholding and revealed problems, and a week later documentation and the scheme to the current network was made. Specialists of First BIT recommended to implement the project on the basis of the current network with the new equipment, taking into account requirements of agroholding.

Project Results

Key project deliverables:

• Technical specialists of meat-processing plant can quickly both timely reveal and fix problems thanks to the system of permanent monitoring of a current status of network. The fault tolerance is increased.
• Internal security of corporate network is ensured. Only the registered users can have access to corporate network. The implemented technologies allowed to minimize the probability of removal of corporate network of a system because of misuse or the attacks from internal perimeter.
• Access control to Internet resources is provided. Next Generation Firewall which allows to control traffic is set and also to open or prohibit access to an inappropriate content.
• Consolidation of remote offices in uniform VPN network with enciphering of traffic is performed. The staff of offices got secure access through public network to corporate data of the central office.
