2018: Announcement of Acuson Juniper
On March 1, 2018 Siemens Healthiners started the new ultrasonic Acuson Juniper system to which advantages the producer refers expanded functions, ergonomic design and a possibility of use in the most different clinical segments.
Included in one of the largest projects on creation of the new equipment for ultrasonic examination of Siemens Healthiners responses of 365 participants. The universality and adaptivity of a system allow to use it at inspection of patients with different anatomic and physiological features. A held for use system in different clinical situations has flexible, intuitive configurations. Fast inclusion and preparation of a system allows to save time of the doctor and patient, and existence of five active ports transformers allows to use the device in different departments.
The Acuson Juniper model adapts practically to any production environment. At the same time rather small size of the device does not threaten performance. Acuson Juniper is equipped with the new platform for image processing and also has high sensitivity and specificity that improves differentiation of fabrics on the screen. The new processor reduces noises at the movement of the probe or the patient and allows to receive images quickly.
The LED Acuson Juniper monitor and the touchpad are the largest in the segment, claim in Siemens Healthineers. Two standard USB ports of a system allow to transfer quickly images to patients that eliminates need for printout of documentation. Work of Acuson Juniper is 40% more silent, than at other ultrasonic systems in this class. Besides, use of a system is provided in sterile conditions, for example, in the operating room – the device is supplied with the special protective sheet for the keyboard. This protective film can be disinfected for reuse.[1]
