On March 6, 2018 the Altaykrayenergo company announced conclusion of an agreement with Comparex on delivery of the software of Microsoft according to the program of corporate licensing Enterprise Agreement True-up. It helped to reduce licensing costs of the used software products and also to increase technical readiness of the company for development and development of information services and applications.

The department of information technologies of Altaykrayenergo company accompanies and develops a number of the information services supporting process of power supply of consumers. These processes constantly are optimized and change that involves changes in functioning of both information systems, and computing infrastructure on which they are performed. The occurred engineering and organizational changes in Altaykrayenergo demanded review and optimization of the available software license agreements, for the help in this process the company addressed specialists of Comparex.

Specialists in the computing equipment, the systems of virtualization and programs of licensing of Comparex company conducted examination of IT infrastructure of Altaykrayenergo and developed a number of recommendations which observance gave to Altaykraenergo reducing costs for licensing of the used software products, lifting of restriction on the number of copies of business applications in virtual infrastructure, increase in technical readiness of the company for development and development of information services and applications.
