Registration of an accident to receive payment for the casco policy in IngoMobile
On November 28, 2018, EastBanc Technologies announced that the next version of the client mobile application IngoMobile, developed by EastBanc Technologies for the Ingosstrakh SPAO, allows you to issue an accident to receive payment for the casco policy. According to the company, through the mobile application, car owners can go through a full cycle of making a loss due to accidents, car damage in the parking lot and other accidents.
Registration takes place completely through the mobile application IngoMobile - from the application to the receipt of approval and selection of the workshop. The user selects the contract under which he wants to report the incident, fills all the information, attaches confirmation, including photos of the damaged car and references from the traffic police, and sends to Ingosstrakh.
The application supports most options for registering accidents: according to the Euro protocol, reference from the traffic police and in other ways. The application creates a loss, then the insurance company informs the customer about the approval and generates a direction for repair. The application user can select a suitable workshop directly in the IngoMobile. Also in the application IngoMobile users can purchase insurance policies, property insurance, mortgages, voluntary medical insurance, as well as apply for insurance when traveling abroad. The customers of the insurance company see in the application their policies for all types of insurance, can make a payment and extend the policy for the next period.
Online settlement of insurance cases is the main challenge to insurers who intend to develop their business using remote services. This service saves customers from spending nerves and time, but forces the insurance company to significantly transform business processes. To implement the online settlement, Ingosstrakh carried out a number of changes, ranging from agreements with hundreds of repair stations, to simplifying current processes. Thus, as of November 2018, we were able to reduce the processing time of the claimed loss and set 60 minutes to prepare the referral for repair. Daniil Proskurin, Marketing Director, Ingosstrakh |
Implementing Smart IDReader
In March, 2018 it became known that the Ingosstrakh insurance company introduced technology of recognition of the certifying documents Smart IDReader of the Smart Engines company in the IngoMobile mobile application. The recognition library was integrated by developers of the mobile application EastBanc Technologies.
In the mobile application, IngoMobile customers can insure the car by casco and CTP, buy a policy of insurance for travelers, property, mortgages and health. The application provides information about the current policies for all types of insurance, and the client can make a payment and reissue the policy for a new period.
The ability to recognize the data of the passport of the Russian Federation, driver's licenses and certificates of registration of vehicles (STS) appeared in the updated application IngoMobile for iOS and Android. The application is designed for current and new customers of the Ingosstrakh insurance company, who are invited to calculate, issue or extend insurance policies without visiting the office.
Recognition of customer documents allows you to reduce the time to enter data about the insured, drivers and car when issuing new casco and CTP policies. Now the client can simply put the phone camera on the document for a few seconds, and all the necessary data will be automatically recognized. This data is entered in the fields of the application form IngoMobile and for the convenience of the customer is stored in his profile, so that you do not enter it again on the next purchase.
The Smart IDReader recognition module scans the document in the video stream and retrieves data on the device itself without transferring images to the server. In terms of camera and computing requirements, the technology is adapted to work even on base-level smartphones with low-resolution video cameras.
Already a lot of familiar operations have been transferred to digital channels - from calling a taxi to buying household appliances. Ingosstrakh was the first to transfer the purchase of insurance policies to digital technologies. The current version of the mobile application IngoMobile is a full-fledged platform for interaction between the insurance company and customers. Now it is not necessary to go to the office or meet with an insurance agent to arrange standard insurance products and even insure the car by helmet, "said Dmitry Talochkin, director of EastBanc Technologies. |
