On March 15, 2018 The Moscow multi-profile technical school of L.B. Krasin (MMT of L.B. Krasin) opened an industrial practice polygraphic complex. Along with other printing and post-printing equipment digital printing Xerox Versant machines 3100 Press, Xerox Color 1000i and Xerox Nuvera 144 entered it. The technical school is going to train students according to modern standards at this equipment, including cooperating with the organization WorldSkills and also to turn out high-quality printed materials by request of city educational institutions.
One of the main specializations of MMT of L.B. Krasin training publishing and to printing, design, advertizing and other disciplines. That students could study in practice work on the modern polygraphic equipment, organization needed to open own polygraphic complex. During creation of this platform the technical school was guided by standards of the international non-profit movement WorldSkills which purpose — to increase prestige of working specialties and professional education.
That students could receive all necessary competences, the technical school picked up the polygraphic equipment in which all modern technical solutions are most widely used. Their suitability for production of the wide range of printed materials, including non-standard printing format (up to 660 mm) and printing complementaries became one more important selection term of machines.
Along with the offset equipment entered the complex created by these criteria full-color the Xerox Versant 3100 Press and Xerox Color 1000i CFM with the stitching module and additional section for printing the metallized gold toner. Also the technical school purchased monochrome the Xerox Nuvera 144 CFM with the finishing equipment of C.P. Bourg installed to the line which allows to publish books in a soft cover with simultaneous tripartite undercutting.
By the installed machines leaflets, brochures, books in a soft cover, image products and many other things are made. Based on a polygraphic complex the technical school is going to start raznoformatny educational programs, including joint with Xerox company.
