Acer a VL series - a line of projectors for home users
2018: Start of sales of a projector of VL7860
On March 22, 2018 the Acer company provided VL7860 model — a modern house projector for fans of cinema to 4K UHD.
According to representatives of the company, the laser projector of Acer VL7860 will become an optimal component of the home theater and well will be suitable for watching video with the resolution of 4K UHD (3840 x 2160 pixels). Brightness up to 3,000 lm (ANSI) and contrast 1500000:1 will provide comfortable watching favourite movies in house conditions, and the integrated 5-watt speaker phones will eliminate need for the external audio system if you decide to organize an exit film session. The projector can be moved easily to the new place and to configure it in only several minutes, using a 1.6-fold zoom and vertical correction of provision of a lens.
A number of modern technologies is responsible for a high image quality in Acer VL7860. The system of dynamic correction of brightness of the laser diode DynamicBlack allows to achieve deep black color, and the AcuMotion technology independently creates the transitional personnel for giving of smoothness to the movement on the screen that the picture was not broken off. The Super Resolution function raises image resolution from any source to achieve close to 4K of quality even at reproduction of video records with smaller, than UHD permission, was specified in Acer.

Compatibility with standards of Rec. 709 and Rec. 2020 and support of the sRGB standard guarantee high quality of a color rendition during the work with modern video records and a TV-signal in high resolution, at the same time Rec support. 709 and 80% of a gamma of DCI-P3 mean that the viewer will see those colors and shades which thought the author of video on the screen, the developer noted.
To reduce the owner's costs on the electric power of Acer VL7860 supports the ECO mode in which the light source of the device can work without replacement till 30,000 o'clock at the low level of energy consumption.
The projector of Acer VL7860 went on sale in Russia at the recommended retail price of 319,990 rubles.
